The Common European Framework for Languages
The introduction by the Council of Europe of the Common European Framework for languages means that students' levels of language competence will be assessed according to the six levels defined in the Framework.
These pages aim to build on the Council of Europe's downloadable documentation.
The Europass Language Passport, an electronic version of the standard Language Passport for adults jointly developed by the Council of Europe and the European Union, can be completed on line:
