11.1 Assistance to the vehicle and its passengers
9. Dispatch of replacement parts.
Should the insured vehicle, as a result of an accident or breakdown, require replacement parts that are not available in the area where the accident or breakdown occurred, the insurer will bear the cost of dispatching said parts and the corresponding transportation expenses.
The insured, upon returning from his / her journey, will reimburse the insurer for any advances it may have for the purchase of parts or payment of customs duties.
THE FOLLOWING IS NOT COVERED:
a. Restaurant and hotel expenses, except where expressly for in the foregoing articles, and expenses for petrol, repairs to the vehicle, the theft of luggage or equipment, personal items or the vehicle's built-in accessories.
b. Taxi expenses, except for those provided for in Cover 4 (Transportation or repatriation of the insureds) or those expressly authorised by the insurer.
c. Benefits for hitchking passengers
d. Benefits for vehicles that have been abandoned.
